Award-winning VoIP gateway provider appoints industry veteran to management team for CALA region
London, UK and San Diego 9th December 2005: Dedicated VoIP gateway manufacturer VegaStream today announced a key appointment to its U.S.-based team in order to meet the increasing demand for its award-winning line of analog and IP VoIP gateways in Central and Latin America. In order to capture the growing demand for VoIP gateways in the CALA region, VegaStream has appointed Denis Letsinger as Vice President of Sales, Central and Latin America. In this role, Mr. Letsinger is responsible for planning and growing VegaStream's sales strategy and organization for Central and Latin America. Most recently, Mr. Letsinger served as Senior Account Executive for NMS Communications where he was responsible for sales in advanced telecommunications systems and components. Prior to NMS Communications, Mr. Letsinger was Director of Sales, U.S. Southwest and Country Manager for Mexico for AudioCodes. During his tenure at AudioCodes, he opened the company's local office, won several notable accounts in neighbouring Latin American countries and maintained a firm track record of adding customers and growing revenue. Adding experienced leadership with knowledge and established relationships in the CALA region are critical to our ongoing success," said Tim Burne, CEO for VegaStream. Mr. Letsinger has a Bachelors of Science in Electronics Engineering from Metropolitan State College in Denver. Early in his career, he worked as a field engineer and manufacturing manager for computer companies in Colorado. In 1994, He joined RadiSys Corporation in their California office as a Field Engineer, where he supported custom embedded computer projects. He then joined the company's newly formed telecommunications group and took on the role of Account Manager where he established strong relationships with RadiSys's major customers in the telecommunications sector.
