VegaStream successfully complete compatibility testing with Gamma Telecom's IPDirectConnect service

Bracknell, UK – October 23rd 2006: VegaStream, the industry leading developer of reliable, cost effective and easy to use telephony media gateways, announced today that Gamma Telecom and VegaStream have recently completed successful compatibility testing between Gamma’s IPDirectConnect service and the award winning VegaStream range of IP Gateways. The gateways are typically installed between customers’ existing TDM PABXs or Key Systems and the Gamma IP Service, allowing seamless integration and a fast uptake of the service.

IPDirectConnect connects the end-user’s equipment (e.g. IP-PBX) directly into Gamma's IP network, enabling full PSTN connectivity through to the IP backbone. When Gamma launched IPDirectConnect in December 2005, it was one of the first pure IP services available in the UK.
